UK expands Israel travel warning

The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office advisory covers Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories.

Israel’s airspace remains closed and will likely do so for several more days.

The advisory warns of a ‘fast-moving situation that poses significant risks.’

“The situation has the potential to deteriorate further, quickly and without warning,” it adds.

It advises those in Israel now to follow the advice of local authorities.

Israel declared a state of emergency on 13 June as both Israel and Iran exchanged missile attacks.

The FCDO also advised Britons not to travel to Iran.
