Three regional airports set to be sold

Exeterairport A trio of English regional airports are about to change ownership.

The sale of Exeter, Bournemouth and Norwich airports is set to be announced today in multimillion-pound deal.

Investment firm ICG has agreed a deal to purchase the airports from Rigby Group, the BBC reports.

The deal is reportedly worth about £200m.

ICG has been in discussions to buy the airports since early this spring.

The airports handle nearly two million passengers a year, with Bournemouth the largest of the three in terms of passenger traffic.
