Eurowings launching flights from Berlin to six new European destinations in 2026

This expansion is the consequence of the German Federal government to stabilize air taxes and costs at German airports, with the perspective to lower them in the longer term.

“The measures adopted by the German Government are helping us to stabilize our range of flights to European destinations and, in some cases, to expand it. This is particularly evident in Berlin. We are making a deliberate investment in BER because we see the region’s potential and want to offer people in Berlin and Brandenburg an even more diverse European network,” highlights Jens Bischof, CEO of Eurowings.

From summer 2026, Eurowings will add three more European cities to its network as part of its role as the “Capital Express”: London, Lisbon and Sarajevo.

The Lufthansa low-cost affiliate will also link Berlin to three more leisure destinations : Olbia, Naples and Kavala (Greece). At the same time, Eurowings will operate more frequent flights to the popular holiday destinations of Mallorca, Split, Faro and Larnaca.

With a total of 43 destinations in 20 countries, the Eurowings summer flight schedule for 2026 at BER will offer more choice and seat capacity than ever before.

15 destinations to benefit from Eurowings’ expansion

As part of the expansion of services at BER, the Eurowings fleet will have nine aircraft stationed there. This signals the clear commitment to growth in the capital by the Lufthansa subsidiary. In total, 15 destinations will benefit from new or enhanced connections out of the German capital next summer.
