Air Arabia accepting crypto payments for flight bookings

It will be the first airline in the region offering stablecoin-based payments.

To facilitate it, Air Arabia partnered with Al Maryah Community Bank which is the UAE’s first fully integrated digital bank.

It will allow for AE Coin payments for flight bookings via the AEC Wallet App.

As the UAE’s first AED-backed stablecoin, AE Coin has pegged parity with the UAE Dirham.

Air Arabia’s customers can select the AEC Wallet at checkout when booking on the airline’s website.
