Loganair adjust flight schedules to boost operational performance

Taking on feedback from customers and crew, it is taking decisive action to stabilise and improve performance in its core flying network.
The airline announced several route adjustments, most of which will be introduced in early May 2024.
These network changes will help reduce the amount of operational disruption experienced for over 18-months, Loganair says.
It will see a more stable daily flying programme and a reduction in the number of flights delayed and cancelled.
From 10 May, the following routes will be removed from the Loganair network:
Aberdeen to Teesside
Aberdeen to Newcastle
Glasgow to Southampton
Several other routes will see minor adjustments to frequency, in varying stages, until the end of the summer schedule on 26 October.
New CEO Luke Farajallah said: “Since my first day as CEO of Loganair last month, I have been listening carefully to feedback from our loyal customers and hard-working crew.”
“I want to personally apologise to everyone who has been impacted by the unacceptable levels of disruption for over 18-months whilst the airline has been undertaking a re-fleeting programme.”
“Loganair is the UK’s largest regional airline, and we are getting back to the basic principles that have made us successful.”
